GM Mobility Program
General Motors offers up to $1,000 toward the cost of mobility adaptive equipment installed or reinstalled on purchased or leased* new GM cars, vans, or light-duty trucks. This may be applied to any after-market equipment needed for the driver or passenger such as hand controls, wheelchair or scooter lifting devices, steering knobs, and additional hand grips. *(Leased vehicles require lessor's approval for conversion.)

Chrysler Automobility Program
Automobility is about buying or leasing and adapting a vehicle that's exactly right for your lifestyle and transportation needs. When you buy or lease any new 1999, 2000 or 2001 model Chrysler, Plymouth, Jeep_® or Dodge vehicle from a participating dealer, Daimler Chrysler will give you a cash reimbursement to help cover the cost of installing the adaptive driver or passenger equipment on your vehicle. Leased vehicles must be leased for a minimum of 12 months to be eligible. Adaptive equipment is defined as equipment needed by a person with a disability to drive, enter, exit and/or be transported safely in a motor vehicle. Factory optional equipment does not qualify for reimbursement.

Conversions to full-size Dodge Ram Vans, Ram Conversion Van, Ram Wagon, Caravan, Grand Caravan, and Chrysler Voyager, Grand Voyager and Town & Country models may be reimbursed up to a maximum of $1,000. Conversions to all other eligible Chrysler, Plymouth, Jeep_® or Dodge models qualify for a maximum reimbursement of $750. Running boards qualify for a maximum reimbursement of $400. Alerting devices qualify for a maximum reimbursement of $200. These reimbursements will not be reduced or affected by any additional outside funding.
